Here’s what I received in my January “It Girl” box. After I paid for the month’s box, I received an email about an upgrade and could choose a polish, Nail Therapy base coat or something else (sorry I forgot the last thing).
- Leah: A “vivid and refreshing grass green with a hint of shimmer”. I know I’m not usually a green-wearing girl but I’m excited about this one
- Hayden: A “neon peach”. I don’t think I have anything else quite like this one.
- Megan: A “playful and sultry Mediterranean aquamarine shimmer”. This is a beautiful shade and definitely spring & summer-y.
- Demi: This was my polish upgrade. Its described as “an elegant burgundy like a fine wine”. What can I say? I love a red polish.
- I also received a trial nail polish remover pad in a foil packet.
I have to say, I’m really impressed with the Julep Maven program so far. I’ve received my Intro Box, the Mystery Box and this box. All have been packaged nicely enough to be shipped without breaking, wrapped nicely and aesthetically pleasing, and I feel like I’m receiving a good value for my money. Yes the polish themselves are quite pricey per ounce if I were to purchase them outright but packaged together with multiple polishes and also various hand and nail care products its a good value. At least I think so.
If you’re on the fence about the Julep program, they frequently have coupon codes on their facebook page where you can try it for as little as a penny! How can you lose that way?
